Description

The PMC ShuttleStor is a PMC storage solution that allows a solid state flash drive or rotating disk drive to be mounted onto a carrier (shuttle), which is then removable through the front panel of the host board.

• One design is compatible with 1.8" - 7 mm ATA/IDE rotating hard drives or solid state flash, and 2.5" - 9.5 mm ATA/IDE rotating hard drives or solid state flash drives
   
• Standard PMC Mezzanine form factor IEEE 1386.1
• On board parallel to serial ATA conversion
• ATA control logic supports Hot Swap
• Off-the-shelf device driver support
• On board Hot Plug Power conditioning

  upgraded, simply remove the existing drive and plug in the upgrade - in standard 2.5" or 1.8" form factors, rotating or solid state flash.
• Availability. System uptime is crucial. PMC ShuttleStor offers the shortest mean time to repair (MTTR) in the industry - with hot swap capability. No tools required.
